Jamie McMurray Fans???

Question

I have been a HUGE Jamie fan ever since he started racing. I feel so bad for him because he has had so much bad luck lately. And with the new rule of having only four cars I keep thinking that Jamie might be out. What do you guys think about his future... where do you think Jamie will end up?

NASCAR is kind of a cruel sport. Sometimes teams may not have everything in place to make that driver appear to be at his utmost. They keep switching drivers and teams trying to see if it is drivers or their organization that needs improving. With the new cars (COT) a lot of teams have struggled getting a grasp of the needed information to be competitive. It's an emotional strain on every driver and team.



Hopefully if things doesn't work out where he is at then he may get a shot at a better team (one more suitable for him). I've seen a lot of drivers and teams struggle with these new cars. I don't think NASCAR has all the data themselves on these cars yet to be able to make very reasonable adjustments to make the playing field level.



Hang in there. Something better may come along for him and he has a better chance. There can only be one winner in any race and the competition is tough right now.

Unless he decides to test the waters on his own, he'll be at Yates in 2010, unless something MASSIVE happens and Matt Kenseth leaves Roush for somebody, because Ragan is showing signs of brilliance and everyone else is signed but Kenseth.



One of Mcmurray's problems is with the new car, Jamie likes to drive a tight car, and that doesn't make these COT's fast at all. If you look at Busch or Dale Jr., they're pretty much sliding those cars out of the corners all the time. That whole 26 team seems to be messed up right now. They definitely need to rearrange some things there.



I just hope he lands somewhere good.

I really wish Jamie would get to stay but I am almost positive that he will be the one leaving Roush. I like all the Roush drivers my favorite driver being David Ragan and find that it is unfair for a driver to have to leave. I think I read that David was going to extend his contract soon. here is my opinion.





They should keep Carl. He has already won races this year.

They should keep David. He has shown that he has the potential to win races with Daytona as proof. If all heck hadn't broken loose at the end. He could have won.

They should keep Matt. Matt is a good driver and has a win in the near future.

They should keep Greg- Well... I don't know why they should keep Greg. I would give him up if tit was me. But he has already extended his contract.

Sadly, Jamie is the odd one out. I wish that they would keeep him though.

I am a roush fan and I think Jamie Mac will be out because all of Roush's other drivers have so much going for them and I think he will end up at Yates racing

I think he'll end up at Yates, but I dont think it'll be in a 3rd car, I think that David will be without a ride and Jamie will be taking it. Which is not a bad think considering how well Yates is doing and it would make him the top driver for Yates.

yeah jamie mcmurry has not had luck on his side. and i feel for him , he a good driver and nice person. i hope it changes for him. i would like to see him win again. roush ant moving to 4 cars till 2010 are they. so he should have a ride next year. and you never know who will leave roush. look a jeff burton and mark martin.

I think Roush already found a loop hole and he'll be the driver of the 3rd Doug Yates car next year, probably even with the same number and sponsor.

Hopefully he will have some better luck-it hasn't been on his side, that's for sure. Like to see him stay at Roush and turn things around.

i like jamie a lot, and i hate seeing him struggle like he has. hopefully he'll have some luck soon. nobody really knows if he's leaving or not. i heard a rumor that matt kenseth was looking at other options, but then again, i could be wrong...
