No. Dale Jr actually is not doing all that bad. Had his engine not blown up in Michigan, it was a good chance he was going to have a top 5 finish. Dale Jr is not a tool, nor whatever derogatory name you wish to label him as. He's just a man driving fast. As far as Kasey Kahne, I have to disagree if you're labling him as any better. Kasey Kahne started off as a great rookie, and then he let publicity get to his head. Kahne might win a race every once in a while, but I don't even look for him to be in the chase this year.

If junior is so bad in the chase, where are all the other drivers and their championships?



In the 9 years the chase has been around, there have been only a handful of drivers to win the championship.

By your logic, every other driver that has made the chase but hasn't won the championship, is an R&D driver.

Choking in the Chase is going from the points lead to 12th in 2 races, not dropping to 7th then falling to 12th because you missed 2 races because of a concussion.

Kahne is twice the driver ole coal lover ever was. Jr can't even win a fixed race for crying out loud. I am sure Hendrick just keeps ole coal lover dusty pants around for Jr's big buck sponsorship deals!
