It's not Jimmie who makes the chase boring... It's the chase itself. A 36 race chase would be more exciting. You can not size up a champion in 10 races.

I don't Jimmie knows when it is time to go and is a smart driver. At Dega he didn't want to wreck and get his car damaged before the end of a race. But i do think Johnson shouldn't have done it, if your a Johnson what were you thinking when you seen Jimmie ways back until 15 laps to go. Jimmie will win and NASCAR completely ruined restrictor plate racing, Good job. Physic!!!

He sure doesn't have the personality a lot of drivers do like, Tony Stewart, Michael Waltrip, DJ, even Kyle Bush. Jimmie is a great driver and his best asset may be his ability to stay out of trouble. Take Talladega for example, I was there and so many cars get caught up in wrecks but not Jimmie. If it comes down to him winning the championship again at Homestead, I probably won't even watch the race.

I agree. I don't want people to be troublemakers, but do something to have a personality. Would the old time guys have refused to race hard against Denny Hamlin at Martinsville for fear of losing points? I don't think so. They would have taken their chances.

Wow do you sound bitter? Its hard to question his style of driving when he is about to win his 4th straight title. I wish he would go to F1 as he would find himself in 20th place getting lapped each race.

I AGREE!!! He is the worst possible face for Nascar. He's a girly, whining cheater, with a crew chief that sets up a car I could win in.

I respect his driving ability. I think this history making 4th straight championship is actually hurting NASCAR. Champs like Earnhardt, Petty, Yarbourough, Pearson were liked because of their personality (rebellish, sly, blue collar, etc.). I don't see that with Johnson. He seems like a cool guy, but he comes off dry.

He is boring and that is partly why people are tired of him winning all the time. If he had more personality it may not be as much of a problem with the fans that he is always winning

He is just to vanilla, no personality, too private. He is just not your average Nascar race car driver. He doesn't fit the pattern or mold of a Pearson, Earnhardt, Turner, Yarbrough. The only thing he does is win, and even that is boring, even his burn outs are lame. Come on Jimmie kick it up a notch or two..

I agree 100%. I can't even watch nascar, because I am sick of him winning all the time. I have said before, when someone other than him wins a championship, I will start watching again. Until then I only watch the Nationwide series.
