Can someone out there give me ONE GOOD REASON why everyone dislikes Jimmie Johnson so much?

He is a great racer & not a whiner like some of the other drives out there these days. He has really matured in the few years he's been driving & is a smart racer. Him & Chad Knaus are a great team & I see him getting even better as the years go by. So why does everyone dislike him?

I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it. He and Kenseth have been the class of the field all season long. I don't like him because he drives for Hendrick. As Chad Knaus is a cheater, so is Rick Hendrick. Although Rick Hendrick is also a crook. If Jimmie Johnson drove for anyone else, then yeah I'm all for him winning the Cup. Until then, I hope he blows up at Homestead and one of the other 4 drivers wins the Cup.

The reason people don't like Jimmie is because he's a Hendrick driver and they are dominant. Its probably nothing more than that. Personally I am a Jimmie fan and am looking forward to him winning the cup this year, he deserves it. The thing I dont understand though is everybody that doesnt like him, or most everybody, say because he's a cheater. Okay he cheated at Daytona, big deal, he won the race in a car that met NASCAR specifications, a car that WAS NOT illegal. Also how many times has Kevin Harvick been caught cheating. (Im a Harvick fan also) I think people need to get over it. Cheating is a part of NASCAR always has been and always will be. Every driver does it, every team does it, and they will continue to do it. Its all part of getting an advantage which is what NASCAR is supposed to be all about. And if people want to say Dale Jr. (who I'm a fan of also) doesnt cheat... One question, What do you call spinning yourself out to get a caution?

I think mostly though people dont like him is because he drives for a Hendrick team, a teammate to Jeff Gordon (who people dont like because he's dominant) and with a dominant team.

I almost forgot, people dont seem to realize this, but Jimmie was penalized, i think last year or the year before, at Dover for having LEGAL shocks. There was no rule against the shocks, yet they were penalized, and a rule was henceforth made after the race was over.

i are not getting it. he's a sturdy sparkling driver. He cheated as quickly as and what he did, did no longer endanger the different driver, no longer that, that makes it suitable. I love Jimmie, he's the only reason I watch, except for Jeff Gordon who is my dad's favorite. I think it takes a great driver to be in the Cahse for the Nextel Cup every year since he started racing NASCAR full time. He's a great driver and the only thing I can figure, is that other people are jealous or they aren't Jeff fans. He's a pretty good guy.

I love the 48, but the general sentiment among people who dislike him is that he is a whiner. I disagree with this, alot of people complain about various things : Jr., his father, tony stewart, the list goes on.

I agree Jimmie Johnson is a great driver, and seems to be a genuinely nice person. Maybe people don't like him because he wins races. Who knows. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Now Kevin Harvick is another story, I don't like him or wife, he's a aggressive driver and doesn't care who he wrecks.

I'll take Jimmy anytime.
