if u were these teams...?

ok for 2009 and 2010 only. if u were Richard Childress who would you put in the #33 car next year? how about if u were tony stewart which driver would u choose 2 drive the #4? and finally if u were Roush and RFR and had 2 cut down to 4 teams by 2010 who would u get rid of?

ill put Casey Mears in the #33 then put Ryan Newman in the #4 and finally get rid of Jamie McMurray

Well, I think we'll all hear today that Ryan is getting the #4, so that's a mute point. I agree with WBa that JB should go into the #33, he's never had a competitive shot in the cup series and he's shown that he can compete by his consistency in the truck series despite crew chief changes. I know Jamie McMurray has had a couple of disappointing seasons, but I'd like to see RFR keep McMurray in the car and "move" it to Penske. I think with the shuffling of crew chiefs at RFR he's had some recovery to do and he's been caught up in a lot of other people's messes - not of his own doing. So I think if they could get some consistency in that team and just move it to Penske (who seems to be making some headway) that would maybe assist with both issues. (I'm not a huge Jamie fan, but I think he's not really responsible for his recent bad performances.)

Already announced Ryan Newman will drive the #4. Smoke is supposed to announce it at MIS this week-end officially.



Johhnny Benson for the #33. He never had a chance with the teams he was with before.



If I was Roush, for whatever reason Jamie McMurray just hasn't been able to get the job done. I'm sure Jack has dumped everything he could into the #26. I am a fan of Jamie, really disappointing year.

For the RCR car I would actually put A.J. Allmendinger in the car.

For Stewart Haas I guess Newman is the best choice but I'd consider putting JJ Yeley in the car.

And I think Jamie would make the most since to get rid of. But you never know how things are going to work out. Biffle may get back on his string of talking crap about his team and Roush may not have a choice.

Too many people said Mears, Newman and Jamie. That's more than likely whats going to happen so I wanted to mix it up a little.

For Childress i would put Scott Wimmer in the 33. For Stewart i would put McMurray in the 4 since thats who Roush will probably cut.

I'd put Ryan Newman in the #4, Clint Bowyer in the #33 (with Steve Park going to the #07), and get rid of Jamie McMurray.
