I can only say one?! I agree no racing to the line is a poor rule. Races should not be ending in turn 1 and the backstretch. At least get rid of it on the final few laps. The lucky dog is the stupidest rule though. That rule is THE very definition of stupidity. I'm also not a fan of green white checker finishes. If the race is 500 miles, it should end at 500 miles. And I don't like the double wide restarts. But I'm different in most fans in that I see the sport as a sport first, not entertainment.

It is a toss up between two rules. I am in favor of on the last lap anything goes (within reason) no cautions on the final lap until the checkered is thrown.

The other rule I hate is a mandatory spoiler angle. Let the teams set whatever angle they think they can get away with. If a driver can hang on with that blade laid back a bit more, let them go for it.

I am not a particular fan of green-white-checker finishes. Nor the double file restarts. But I do think that the yellow line rule at Daytona and Talladega is real stupid. It would be fun to see em passing each other in the grass and all that. See how crazy one would go to win a Daytona 500.

The best thing nascar could do would be to shorten the races. Make every race a shoot out. Let the race be decided on the track and not on pit row.

change the entire rulebook

use all 1958--1964 cars

original STOCK engine , trans , steering and brakes

nothing modern except for driver protection cage and safety harness

and see if these people can race a STOCK CAR

Make the teams ALL have to qualify, no more top 35 teams.....

Qualify only on time.

I'd make them drive the opposite way and make all right turns.

that rule is there for safty reason what if the wreck is near the finish line thus putting all in danger

i can see if it is on the brack stretch and its the last lap let them race back

the rule no racing below the double yellow needs to go away on the last lap

Allow them to make right turns (in other words, go the wrong way)
