listen to this artical i just read.

in 2004, tony donated 1.5 million to the drivers who were injured, and there families.

in 2005 tony won his second championship and donated 2.4 million to saint judes childern hospital.

2006 tony donated 4.5 million split between these charities, victory junkshion, tony stewart foundation, riley's, and the hrricane katrina foundation.

2007 smoke donated over 5 million to charites

2008 we all know he donated 1.5 mill to the victory junk... and got his back waxed for charites.

thats not all!
tony also has donated to help young drivers find there way into racing, he donated 1.5 mill to the children racing school and also donated 1.5 mill to help disabaled veterians.

smoke is quite the care giver. he said he loves to help out other people and not a lot of people know he has a heart of gold. he might have anger problems but deep down in side he is just a teady bear! tony also helps out every year at one local track.

I like how you did that without even asking a question!

That is pretty incredible. If there's a God or at least karma. Good things should happen to Tony. LIKE WIN A COUPLE OF RACES FOR HIS FANS! Tony Stewart is in fact, one of racings bigger legends. I wish his fans would quit throwing beer cans at Kyle Busch.

That's one of the things that makes Tony so cool. No only can he race(and win) pretty much anything on wheels. He'll give the shirt(let's not forget the hair) off his back, to a charity. Tony's also known to do stuff for other driver's charities as well as his own. BTW the back waxing thing was payback for Tony doctoring a pic of Kevin Harvick to look like Ronald MacDonald. As for Tony helping other racers, right on, and it has been cool watching Morgan Sheppard do more than run 20 laps and retire(hell he's been getting decent finishes as well), and thanks to Smoke and the Harvicks(KHI, hooked Morgan up with a car for Dega.), we have a chance to see that. Just one of the reasons I have a 20 sticker next to my 88 sticker.

Watch your format. This is not a question. Some troll is gonna report you.

Smoke has always given generously, and will continue to do good things.

The NASCAR family has much to be proud of when it comes to the drivers, crews and sponsors giving to charity.

What have the F1, IRL, etc done.

NOTHING that merits any press coverage.

Thanks for sharing that, I have loved smoke from the moment he started in nascar in 1999. I dont care how is attitude is on the track, its racing, but he is a good person off the track. He is a great role model for everyone, despite his on track attitude!!

Go Smoke!!

I always have liked Tony Stewart, he speaks his mind. And that is terrific in what he is doing. He has a big heart when it comes to children. and others.

on a more personal level, just last week he (and matt yocum) donated tires to morgan shephard so he could continue to run. and he donates his time and expertise to many young drivers, like chrissy wallace a few weeks ago. and at least once last year he "donated" his time to help my boy kyle understand atlanta a little better ;-)

no doubt, he knows how to give back, and to do so with grace and humility.

What's the question? Most drivers have charitable foundations.
