What the heck is wrong with Jeff Gordon?

Something is definately wrong there......crew chief/driver are not on the same page.

I think Jeff needs to step on the gas harder. Or maybe think about getting in a Toyota for the rest of the season.

The whole HMS team has been caught a bit off guard by how much the rest of the field like Gibbs, RCR and Roush have figured out the COT over the offseason and HMS is now hurrying to catch back up. The only HMS car that has been good in every race this year is Dale Jr. Gordon is having a hard time finding a feel in the race car espcially on the 1.5 mile tracks. Eventually they will figure it out however, will it be too little too late as far as making the Chase. Because if they run like they did tonight for the rest of the races before the Chase you can kiss their chase chances good-bye.

Jeffy is not running well this year, and I do think, he will have a new crew chief next year.....I think it all falls on him.



Jeff is driving like a mad man, and trying to keep the car up front, but it just does not have what it use to have.



hope he makes a great come back, he is a good driver, but lets face it, he does not have a good car under him right now, and this too, was not his primary car, but it taint running much better...I love Jeff also.......but he has to make some changes if he wants to win.........I say cut the crew chief and lets get it back on the right track...

I honestly think HMS is experimenting. All of their drivers are having issues this year. That is very uncommon with HMS. There has to be a logical explanation. The only thing I can think is maybe Hendrick is serious about making Jr a champion and is sacrificing a few wins in order to prepare for the chase.



Just a wild thought only but may be something to consider.

there is no longer something incorrect with Jeff Gordon except for, enable's imagine about this for a second. Oh yeah now I bear in mind, he's a winner something that Jr hasn't quaulified for this season. those who say he's gay or perhaps if insults you may arise with, can't actual settle for the undeniable actuality that Jeff is more advantageous acceptable than maximum drivers and that quite kills them. Jr, Harvick, Kenseth, Busch followers, Jeff is more advantageous acceptable than all of them, the stats prepare it. Hate him all you decide on, yet he will continually be something maximum of your drivers are not, a WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok here goes. Once a point a time there was Richard Childress, Nascar came to him and said build us a race truck. Childress built the race truck and he said here is your race truck NASCAR GODS and they said the truck is good. Childress knew what and how he built his race truck and made millions for showing other lower forms of race truck building how to build such race trucks. Childress ultimately won the first Truck Championship, imagine that, along with millions more in the years after before everyone caught up. Now Childress in race trucks have a hard time of it all.

Hence, Big Ricky Hendrick came to NASCAR looking all sheepishly shy and brimming with enthusiasm, "You know what you all did for Childress and the millions you brought to him, please let me and my teams test all the COT cars and be of service to NASCAR. NASCAR said, "Ok Hendrick but quit drooling all over our crotch and humping our leg.

Notice the 2006 season Gordon didn't do anything that year, almost the same problems as this year... But on the reality of it he was testing the COT on the side at all the tracks... He had the insider on every track and every tweak already before the 2007 season. Hence the many wins and almost Championship for himself and also a team championship for Hendrick with Jimmy Johnson, which is a win also for Gordon also since he has stock in Jimmy's team...

Now say it ain't so... The other teams started to catch up way sooner than Hendrick had inticipated and now have caught, passed and now Dominate team Hendrick...

Seems as if during the race, the car is adjusted wrong. Maybe they don't have this COT figured out. I'm not a Jeffy fan, something is really wrong.

Time is simular to the race at Charlotte next week.Teams are able to try things to make improvement for the 600.

Gordon's definitely not up to par this year it's kinda strange to see him doing so poorly race after race. I'm not sure what's wrong but I'd like to see HMS start winning out there!!

What more do you want?!?! Jeff has 4 Championships... he's driving more conservatively now, has a wife & daughter to think of. I ain't a Jeff fan but I think' he's accomplished what he had to do already.. give props to the guy

A scenario I predicted last year. It may be through experimentation from HMS. Gordon could still be the 2008 Cup Champion.
